The Stars hosted the Sagamore Conference leading Crawfordsville Athenians Thursday evening. Even though the Stars put up a valiant effort, the team came up short with a 1-4 loss. Gavin Hawkins earned the only win of the night at 1S with a straight set win. Jones Rutherford at 2S and the 1D team of Owen Oakley and Easton Nance played well, but couldn’t get over the hump. The JV Stars ended the night 2-4 vs the Athenians. The win of the night came from Logan Cripe at 1S where Logan Cripe won his match in a tiebreaker! The Stars move to 7-5 on the season and are back in action Monday at Greencastle for a 5:00 PM start.
