The Western Boone Boys Tennis Team traveled to Lebanon Thursday for a county and conference bout. The Stars fell short in their effort to move to 3-0 in conference by falling to the Tigers 1-4. Gavin Hawkins earned the only win for the Stars by defeating Owen Bigler in straight sets. The win moves Gavin to 3-0 in conference play. The JV Stars also lost 1-4 on the evening. The 1D team of Tristyn Faulk and Reese Young picked up their 3rd win in 3 nights. The duo won 8-4 and completed a sweep on the week. The Stars are now 5-4 on the year and travel to face the Danville Warriors on Tuesday for a 5:00 PM start.
