Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Junior High Cross Country team travelled to Noblesville Saturday to compete against 12 highly talented teams. Four individuals ran for their personal bests, Kole Nelson with a 15:15, Autumn Palmer with a 18:24, Claire Torp with a 15:54 and Joan Gearheart with a 12:05, while Jaili Torp ran a season best of 16:47 taking almost a minute off of her last race. Destiny Stover was only 2 seconds off her best time with a 18:21, Brentton Palmer took off 21 seconds from his last race at 15:01 and Rex Stanley took off over a minute and very close to his best in 18:04. Facing this level of competition was a true challenge but each member of this team stepped up mentally and gave their best.
