Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone 6th grade girls basketball team ended their season last night with a loss to Lebanon 20-17. The stars played with great effort in a hard fought game. The stars came out and took the early lead but fell behind heading into half down 3. The stars continued to show improvement defensively but lost the rebounding battle giving up too many second chance points. Ady Nicley lead in scoring with 9, Bryar King added 6, Molly Rausch had 2. Ella Oakley and Katie Gott played excellent defense throughout. In the B game that stars came out and took the early but the Tigers battled back. Once again the stars got out rebounded but tough defense helped them hold off the comeback and came away with the 6-4 win. Bryar King lead in scoring with 4, Leah Jones added 2.
