Stars Sweep Warriors in JH Swim

JH Stars swam the Danville Warriors on Thursday in our final home meet of the season. The girls won with a score of 106-75 while the boys team were also victorious with a score of 111-64. The girls started off the meet by winning the 200 Medley Relay with the team of Isabelle Sturgis, Eisley Whiteley, Joan Gearheart and Kyndal Dickerson. In the 200 Free Rachel Rustin finished second with a new best time dropping over 18 seconds. In the 100 IM Evie Maurath, Jaili Torp and Kate Foy all finished with new best times. In the 50 Free Eisley Whiteley, Avery Schrier and Ava Quilter swam new best times. Joan Gearheart, Sabina Shepherd and Kate Foy went 1-2-3 in diving for the Stars. Joan followed this up with placing second in the 50 Fly with a new best time. In the 100 Free, new best times were achieved by Mady Monks, Mackenize Clements, Isabella Sparks and Britney Richwine. The Stars finished 1-2 in the 200 Free Relay. Jaili Torp won the 100 Backstroke with a new best time also in the backstroke Isabelle Sturgis and Hannah Ranney finished with best times. Eisley Whiteley won the 100 Breaststroke with Avery Schrier finishing second in a new best time. The boys also started off their meet with a win in the 200 Medley Relay with the team of Jacob Schrier, Ben Twitty, Liam Whiteley and Aiden Lester. In the 200 Free both Aiden Lester and Eli Baldwin swam new best times. In the 100 IM Jacob Schrier finished second while dropping almost 10 seconds for a new best time. Wesley Redman dropped almost 2 seconds to win the 50 Free. Landon Smith and Ari Smith also swam new best times in the 50 Free. In diving Blaine Ballentine and Nathan Lester finished 1-2 for the Stars. In the 50 Fly both Liam Whiteley and Kolten Conner dropped time. Aiden Smith won the 100 Free and achieved a new best time. Deegan Henry, Landon Smith and Grayson Ford also swam best times in the 100 Free. The 200 Free Relay of Aiden Smith, Landon Smith, Ben Twitty and Wesley Redman finished first. Jacob Schrier and Aiden Lester finished 1-2 in the 100 Backstroke. Eli Baldwin also swam a new best time in the 100 Backstroke. Liam Whiteley and Deegan Henry finished 1-2 in the 100 Breaststroke with Deegan swimming a new best time. The Stars were victorious in the last event of the evening, the 400 Free Relay swam by Aiden Smith, Aiden Lester, Jacob Schrier and Liam Whiteley. The Stars are back in action on Tuesday at Clinton Central.
