Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone 6th grade girls basketball team traveled to North Montgomery last night and came home with a 28-10 win. Once again the Stars defense was the key to their success holding North Mont to just 2 points in the second half. The stars offense stayed consistent as they faced an aggressive North Mont defense. Ady Nicley lead in scoring with 22, Ella Oakley added 4 with several rebounds, Harper Nance had 2. Molly Rausch and Katie Gott played excellent switch and help side defense. In the B game the stars lost 6-2. The stars continue to show excellent effort and hard work. Offensively the stars had some good looks but were unable to capitalize. Defense continues to improve each week. Leah Jones had the stars 2 points.
