On Friday night the Stars traveled to Delphi and walked away with the 50-42 loss. The Stars started off down 8-3 and managed to tie the score at the end of the 1st quarter at 8-8. The Stars continued to play great defense and make some timely shots the 2nd quarter to take a 19-14 lead into the half. The Stars came out in the 3rd quarter and went punch for punch with the Oracles but some untimely missed shots and hot shooting from Delphi saw the Oracles take a 38-34 lead headed into the 4th. The same problems plague the Stars in the 4th as they couldn't get the shots to go down and lost by the final score of 50-42. Scoring for the Stars was Tristyn Faulk 12, Carter Hanna and Marcus Fortner with 8 apiece, Gavin Hawkins 7, Quinn Westerfeld 4 and Luke Adkins 3. The JV team battled all evening and had a shot to win the game that rimmed out and ended up losing 39-37.
