The Star swim team traveled to Clinton Central on Tuesday night. The girls' team fell to the Bulldogs 122-84. Starting the meet with a third-place finish was the medley relay team of Adalyn Sartin, Lily Talbott, Annabelle Mickschl, and Kaitlyn Crowley. Samantha Jones teamed up with Crowley in the 200 freestyle for a 1-2 finish; Sartin placed sixth. Mickschl finished third in the 200 IM. Adelaide Jones placed second in the 50 freestyle, followed by Talbott in fifth. Arianna Stieber picked up the first win for the Stars in the 100 fly; Mickschl finished in fourth. In the 100 freestyle, A. Jones and S. Jones finished second and third respectively. Crowley earned the Stars another win in the 500 freestyle, followed in third by Rebecca Rustin. The 200 freestyle relay team of Stieber, Rustin, S. Jones, and A. Jones earned another win for the Stars. Stieber followed with a second individual win in the 100 backstroke; Sartin finished fifth. In the 100 breaststroke, Talbott and Rustin finished fourth and fifth. The 400 free relay team of Crowley, S. Jones, A. Jones, and Stieber ended the meet with one final win for the girls. The boys' team also fell to the Bulldogs with a score of 115-94. The 200 medley relay team of Jacob Norman, Jude Balke, Isaac Threlkeld, and Chase Collier started the meet with a second-place finish. Norman followed with a second-place finish in the 200 freestyle, followed by Wyatt Barnett in third and Henry Biggs in fifth. Threlkeld earned the first win for the Stars in the 200 IM; Malachi Catterson finished fourth. In the 50 freestyle, Collier and Sam Hillger finished in third and fourth, followed in sixth place by Isaac Garringer. Xander Rouse won diving for the evening. Threlkeld earned a second individual win in the 100 fly; Ethan Barnett also placed third and Catterson finished fifth. Zach Connors, Balke, and Artie Milliser placed third, fourth, and fifth respectively in the 100 freestyle. In the 500 freestyle, W. Barnett earned second place and Alex Crockett placed fourth. The 200 freestyle relay team of Connors, W. Barnett, Balke, and Threlkeld finished in second. Norman picked up another win for the Stars in the 100 backstroke; E. Barnett and Milliser also finished third and sixth respectively. In the 100 breaststroke, Balke placed second, Crockett finished fourth, and Connors finished sixth. The 400 freestyle relay team of W. Barnett, Hillger, E. Barnett, and Norman finished the meet with a second-place finish for the boys.
