Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

On Saturday afternoon the Stars traveled to Speedway to take on the Sparkplugs and came away 0-2. The JV started the afternoon on a strong note but ended up losing in the final seconds by 3 points. The Stars were led in scoring by Luke LaGrange and Reese Young who both had 17 points. The Varsity followed with a 77-64 loss to the Sparkplugs. The Stars came out strong leading after 1 and tied at halftime but a strong run at the start of the 3rd quarter put the game out of reach for the Stars. Scoring for the Stars was Gavin Hawkins 20, Quinn Westerfeld 11, Marcus Fortner 10, Tristyn Faulk 8 pts, 8 rebs, 7 assists, Drew Gott 6, Luke Adkins 4, Carter Hanna 3, and Phillip Talbot 2.
