The 8th grade Stars travelled to Clinton Prairie to face the Gophers and came away with a 57-15 win. The A Team hit the court and were all business from the start. The Stars jumped out to a lead early and never looked back. The A Team subs got some good court time to get ready for SAC Tourney. The Stars shared the ball well and played solid defense. Levi Adkins led Stars with 14, Beau Sawyer 12, Carson Nicely 9, Carter Eckert and Josiah Williamson 6, Dane Allen and Brayden Henson 4 and Sam Rausch 2. The Stars B Team concluded their season with a solid win over the Gophers. Solid defense and slowed them down and took control and got the win 22-13 to finish with a 6-1 record. Stars were led by Masyn Hoskins and Brayden Henson with 6, Micah Farris 5, Josiah Williamson and Destin Carabello 2 and Marshal Dillon 1. SAC Tourney starts Thursday at North Montgomery is next for the Stars. The 7th grade junior high basketball team fell to a solid Clinton Prairie team Tuesday night by a score of 47-36. The Stars stayed in the game with a solid defensive mentality and contained the Gophers best player. Offensively, the Stars were able to handle the press until late and held it to within 6 late in the 4th Quarter.
