Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Stars Junior High Boys Soccer finish their year out at the MAC Conference Tourney. The Stars traveled to North Montgomery to compete in the MAC Conference Tournament on Saturday morning. They were tasked with taking on perennial power Frankfort in the first round. Although the boys battled hard, they were unable to match the Hot Dogs physicality and speed and took the loss 0-10. Although a tough game overall, some individuals stood out with their play. Maddox Linton was able to dribble past defenders, Joseph Boddicker and Crosby Kinsler made multiple defensive plays in the middle. Griffin Stevens and Braden Burns both played solid in goal. Overall it was a year of working on improving as individuals and as a team overall. Each individual improved as the year went on and it showed on the field as the physicality, ball fighting and passing all got better. Good job boys!
