Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Jr. High girls faced a tough Frankfort team on Saturday. The team came out ready to compete hard and put up a challenge against Frankfort. The physicality was the toughest the team has faced all season but the girls matched it and played their best soccer game of the season. They were connecting passes and trying new things offensively. We had the most shots on goal this game as we have had all season but struggled to convert. Defensively, the team marked and tracked back the best they have all season as well. The game ended with a loss of 0-3 but the team left with heads held high and every girl saying that it was the game they had the most fun in. The Stars ended their season showing much improvement and are looking to build on this season next year.
