Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

It was a great night for Western Boone Volleyball, filled with fight, growth, and so many things to be proud of! Our JV team started the night with a thrilling three-set victory, setting the tone for an exciting evening. Varsity came out with incredible energy against a strong Lebanon team, jumping out to an early 9-2 lead in the first set and continuing to battle throughout the match. Ady Nicley led the offense with 5 kills and 2 aces, while Emily Shepherd added 5 kills. Defensively, Ady contributed 5 digs and Ella Oakley led the way with 10 digs. The girls showed exactly what we have been working on — staying calm, making smart plays, competing for every ball, and continuing to fight even when things didn’t go our way. Most importantly, the night was about something bigger than volleyball, as we were incredibly proud to raise over $1,400 for the Boone County Cancer Society! What an amazing night for our players, coaches, families, and community!
