The 7th Grade Stars hosted the Crawfordsville Athenians on Saturday morning. The Stars started slow allowing an opening drive Athenian touchdown. From there, the Stars Defense made some adjustments, forced 4 Athenian turnovers and ran away with the game winning 42-6. Dallas Gunn, Turner Pelley, Jace Anderson, and Ty Sanders all recovered Athenian Fumbles and Gage Fields intercepted the only Athenian 2 Pt Conversion.​ The offensive line of Ayden Bolin, Mayson Dover, Daniel Bewley, Camden Massingill, along with the blocking on the outside by Jayden Vaughn, Jase Wilhite, Josh Fulbright, and Anderson opened holes for the running game. Scoring for the Stars were Ty Sanders (2 rushing TDs), Braxton Faulk (1 passing TD, 1 rushing TD), Fields (2 rushing, 1 receiving), Silas Boggs (two 2 pt conversions), and Pelley (2 pt conversion). The Stars travel to Southmont on Tuesday for another MAC game. Kickoff is set for 5:30 pm with 8th grade to follow.
