Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

Miller Rock is a favorite course for our team, and this year brought great weather and some fierce competition. Our Stars stepped up and continued to show what all of their hard work is producing. Hayley Trojnar led the way for the girls, finishing first for our team in 13:32, tying her personal record. Kinley Bivens was behind her, finishing second for the team with a new personal best of 14:28, taking nearly 20 seconds off her previous PR. Alisha Manning finished third for the team in 16:21, followed by Taylor Martin in fourth with another new personal best of 16:44. Taylor continues to chip away at her time and took nearly 45 seconds off her previous PR. Skyler Yarger finished fifth for the team in 17:21. Lydia Boggs finished sixth with a season's best of 17:52, and Ruthie Manning rounded out our girls in seventh with a season's best of 18:05. Wyatt Delp led our boys with a solid 12:37, followed by Liam Sartin with a new season's best of 12:44. Gabriel Threlkeld came in third for the Stars, finishing strong with a time of 13:33. Logan Clements made his race debut and had an incredible first showing, finishing in 13:48. After running a mock meet earlier this season, Logan shaved nearly five minutes off that time. What a way to make your racing debut! Daniel Trittin finished fifth for the boys in 14:23, coming in just shy of his season's best and looking strong throughout the race. The team continues to work hard, and we are continuing to see that hard work pay off. Every race brings more progress, more confidence, and another opportunity to see what these runners can do. This week, we're heading back to another favorite course in Danville, and we're looking forward to seeing what the Stars can do there! Go Stars!
