The Stars faced a strong McCutcheon team last night, ultimately falling in three sets. Despite the result, each set showed continued improvement and growth from the team, along with a level of fight that never wavered. The scoreboard may not always reflect the progress being made, but the improvements are evident with each match. Alexa Massingill led the offense with 9 kills, while Nevaeh Copeland added 3 kills of her own. Defensively, the Stars played tough and stayed scrappy, with Ady Nicely, Kenleigh Raby, Olivia Owens, Kaity Gott, and Ella Oakley combining for 38 digs. The girls played with heart and continued to battle for every point.
