Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone 6th Grade Volleyball team kicked off the week with a strong two-set victory over the North Montgomery Chargers, winning 25-17 and 25-18. The Stars set the tone and pace from the very beginning, playing with confidence and putting together a complete team effort. Western Boone continued to show growth on the court, especially offensively, as the girls did a great job setting up the ball and finishing points with an attack. Everlee Hubbell once again led the charge from the serving line, putting consistent pressure on the Chargers and helping the Stars build momentum throughout the match. Setters Claire Morson and Olive Jackson also had strong performances, doing a great job getting the ball into position and giving their teammates opportunities to attack. The improvement in using all three contacts and creating an offensive attack was a big step forward for the Stars. It was a great way to start another week of competition and another sign of the progress this group continues to make each time it takes the court. The Stars are back in action Thursday when they hit the road to take on Clinton Central!
