Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

On Thursday the Western Boone 7th Grade Volleyball team faced Tri-West in a competitive two-set match. While we fell short, the game gave us a good look at the areas we need to continue working on moving forward. The first set ended 25-12, but the girls came back in the second set and showed a lot of fight, finishing with a close 25-23 score. Saylor Princell had 6 serves and recorded 3 aces. Amelia Stambro contributed with 3 successful dumps and did a great job setting up our hitters with 8 assists. Overall, I was proud of the effort the girls put on the court. Every game is an opportunity to learn and grow, and yesterday showed us exactly what we need to focus on in practice. I’m excited to get back in the gym, work hard, and get these girls ready for our next game!
