Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone Stars boys tennis team traveled to Hamilton Heights to take on the Huskies on Wednesday night. The Stars came away with a hard fought 4-1 victory. The match was much closer than the score would indicate with multiple spots coming down to the wire. The junior varsity Stars tied the Huskies 2-2 with wins coming from Freshman Lane Merrill at 2 Singles and the doubles tandem of Lane Merrill and Ethan Cotton at 2 Doubles. The Stars are now 10-1 on the season. Tomorrow night is senior night at Western Boone where the Stars will host the Crawfordsville Athenians at 5:00 PM in a Monon Athletic Conference clash.
