Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone girls' golf team came very close to breaking a 9-hole team record last night. They were able to defeat Southmont and Sheridan with a score of 163, missing the school record by 3 shots. The senior duo of Ally Lewis and Jada Scott led the way shooting 36 and 37. Ainsley Thompson had a 9-hole personal best in high school with a 43. Lexi Gregg rounded out the scoring with a 47. Also teeing it up for the Stars were Rylee Pelley (54) and Jordan Stirling (60). The Stars are back in action tonight at Crawfordsville Municipal against Crawfordsville and Danville.
