Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone Lady Stars softball team traveled to Noblesville to take on the Lady Eagles of Guerin Catholic. The Stars jumped out to a 2 to 0 lead after two innings and never looked back posting their ninth win in row in 8-1 fashion. Ally Lewis got the Start allowing 1 unearned run on 2 hits striking out 3 in 3 innings with Mickey Burns pitching the final 4 innings in relief allowing 0 runs on 3 his while striking out 6 including 5 of the first 8 batter she faced. Lewis led the stars at the plate going 3 for 4 at the plate collecting 2 RBIs. Burns, Addi Lee, Caydence Paris, Ashlyn Foster and Maddy Monks all contributed with hits of their own in the contest. The Stars are back in action with game one of their final Monon Athletic Conference series as they host the Lady Mounties of Southmont Monday May 18th at 5:30pm
