It was Senior night for the Lady Stars softball team as they celebrated Dottie Wilson and Morganne Grant while picking up their 13th win of the season in 5 innings with a 14-0 contest against the Lady Hotdogs of Frankfort. Mickey Burns got the start and retired the first 9 batters in perfect fashion while striking out 6. Raina Lutz came in to finish things off striking out 5 over the last 2 innings. The Stars were led at the plate by Burns 2 for 3 with 4 RBIs, Lutz 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs and Kenzlei Mathews 2 for 2 with an RBI. Shawna Hitch, Maddy Monks, Addi Lee and Kensley Blankenship also added a base hit of their own bringing their total to 10 for the evening. The Stars will travel to Frankfort for game two of the Monon Athletic Conference series on Thursday evening with a 5:30 start.
