Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone boys' varsity golf team travelled to Eagle Creek on Monday evening to take on Covenant Christian. Playing the back nine on the Pines Course, the Stars would drop the match 157 - 180. As a group, the Stars were able to survive and rebound from a couple of bad holes to still save a respectable team score. The biggest positive of the night for the Stars was Alex Thompson, who found his swing and tied for the team low with a 44, playing his best match of the season. He would be joined by Tim Boddicker, also at 44, followed by Rex Stanley's 45. Luke LaGrange rounded out the scoring for the Stars with a 47. The Stars return to action Thursday night as they once again travel to Crawfordsville Country Club to face Southmont and Lebanon.
