Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone varsity golf team travelled to Quail Creek Golf Club on Thursday to face hosting Tri-West. The Bruins would win the match on their senior night by a score of 155 - 174. In the loss, the Stars fired their best 9-hole score away from home since 2022. For the team, it was yet another step in the right direction. It was especially encouraging for the group as a few golfers showed great resilience, bouncing back from disappointing rounds last Saturday at Ulen. Luke LaGrange led the way again at 41, followed by Tim Boddicker's 42 and Rex Stanley's score of 45. Carson Richardson completed the scoring with a round of 46. Other scores turned in were Alex Thompson, 49; Brennan Kopriva, 50; Rolen Shue, 53; Asher Foy, 54. The Stars are off this weekend and will return to action on Monday at Eagle Creek vs Covenant Christian.
