Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The High School Track and Field teams traveled to Greencastle Monday for a dual meet. With near perfect weather, both teams showed up ready to compete and many individuals recorded their season best times if not their all-time personal best times. Despite having a great night, the Lady Stars lost to the Tiger Cubs (50 to 77), while the boys team won with a score of 76 to 55. First place finishers are as follows; 110 High Hurdles and Long Jump - Jaden Latham 200m Dash - Malaki Christy 800m - Breenen Bivens 400m Relay - Jaden Latham, Nate Thompson, Isaac Threlkeld and Malaki Christy 1600m Relay - Noah Cole, Ethan Stewart, Noah Baird and Layne Bull Shot Put and Discus - Maddox Amich 300m Hurdles - River Roys 400m Dash - Kate Higer 1600m - Charlotte Stucky 3200m Relay - Joan Gearheart, Claire Torp, Abigayle Humphrey and Kate Higer High Jump had a three way tie for 1st place - Emmerson Gott, Alexa Massingill and Neveah Copeland
