Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone Lady Stars hosted the previously undefeated Lady Cougars of North Putnam last night. The Stars got on board early, plating 2 runs in the 1st and 2 more in the 3rd before capping their scoring with1more run in the 5th while collecting their sixth win of the season. Ally Lewis got the start and threw a complete game, allowing only 1 earned run and 3 unearned runs on 7 hits, striking out 4 with none bigger than the called 3rd strike to close out the game. Mickey Burns collected 2 hits and 2 RBIs while Addi Lee, Raina Lutz, Maddy Monks and Ashlynn Foster added 4 more hits for the stars. Caydence Paris was able to collect an all-important RBI in the 5th while reaching on an error from a hard-hit ground ball. The Stars will travel to Roachdale Wednesday 4/22/2026 to try and pick up another Monon Athletic conference win against the same Lady Cougars with a 6pm start.
