Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone Varsity track teams competed Saturday against 9 other teams at The Big Orange Invitational hosted by Hamilton Heights. With less than ideal conditions, the Stars persevered and in one case earned a new school record. Senior Jaden Latham, with a time of 14.96 in the 110m hurdles, beat a record that has stood since 1988. The boy's team finished 5th overall while the girls ended in 9th place. It was a day of great competition in cold, wet and windy conditions that challenged every individual to push themselves and endure.
