Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone Lady Stars softball team traveled to Danville Saturday to take on the Lady Warriors.  The conditions were difficult, and the Stars battled but ended up a little short in the offensive slug fest 21-19.  Several Stars had multiple hits lead by Ally Lewis collecting 4 while Raina Lutz, Maddy Monks and Ashlyn Foster had 3 a piece on the chilly afternoon.  The Stars plated 19 runs with 17 hits but allowed 21 runs by Danville on the same number of hits.  The Stars will be back on the filed Monday as they host the Bulldogs of Clinton Central at 5:30pm.  Come out and support your Lady Stars.
