Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone Lady Stars traveled to Crawfordsville to complete their Monon Athletic Conference series against the Lady Chargers of North Montgomery. The Stars fired up the offense early scoring 8 in the 1st inning and tacking on 10 more over the next 4 innings before recording the win at 18-4 in 5 innings. Ally Lewis got the start in the circle going 3 innings allowing 2 runs on 3 hits while striking out 7. Mickey Burns came in relief going 2 innings allowing 2 unearned runs on 1 hit while striking out 3. On top of the 18 runs the Stars racked up 14 hits on the evening with Addi Lee, Lewis and Burns contributing 3 hits each. The Stars are back at it Saturday as they will travel to take on the Lady Warriors of Danville with and 11am start.
