Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

Western Boone hosted Cascade to open conference play. Cascade’s pitcher was more than the Stars could handle and the boys lost with a final score of 6-2. Quinn Westerfeld, Beau Sawyer, and Owen Oakley all pitched in the contest. Westerfeld struck out 6 batters in 3 innings. Sawyer struck out 2 batters in his inning of work. Oakley pitched it very well and held Cascade to just one run in his 2.1 innings pitched. The offense was led by Owen Howe who went 3 for 3 at the plate. Cale Scagnoli, Levi Stewart, and Quinn Westerfeld all recorded singles. Easton Nance had a double and both of the team’s RBIs. The Stars head to Cascade this evening at 6:00 to try and level their conference record.
