Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Western Boone Stars boy's basketball team was able to capture a 72-65 win on the road against Faith Christian on Tuesday night. The Stars started off strong in the 1st quarter, going 5 for 7 from 3. The hot shooting went away in the 2nd quarter as the Stars were only able to score 4 points during that time. Losing 24-23 at halftime, the Webo offense turned on in the 2nd half scoring 49 points leading the stars to a 7-point win. Quinn Westerfeld led the way with 21 points and was followed by 11 points from Owen Oakley. A balanced attack finished off the stars offense with 6 other players scoring between 5 and 10 points. The boy's basketball team will be looking to keep this momentum going for a big conference game on Friday night against Cascade. Come out and support the Stars on homecoming night on Friday!
