The Webo 8th grade boys basketball team opened conference tournament play Monday night with a strong 44–26 win over North Montgomery. The Stars set the tone early with defensive intensity, shutting down the Chargers and playing four solid quarters to seal the victory. Jackson Potter led the Stars with 21 points. Lukas Harrison added 7, while Tate Fields and Jackson Linton each scored 6. Connor Palmer finished with 4 points. In the semifinal round, the Stars continued their dominant play, defeating Crawfordsville 58–28. Webo controlled the game from the opening tip and never looked back, using balanced scoring and relentless defense. Potter once again led the way with 21 points. Harrison scored 6, Ryder DeVol added 5, Palmer and Fields each had 9, Jude Anderson finished with 4, Linton had 2, and Wood contributed 3. With two convincing tournament victories, the Stars advance to the conference championship game later this week, looking to finish the job.
