Western Boone Jr. - Sr. High School

The Stars girls golfers competed in the Boone County Tourney at the prestigious Holliday Farms Golf Course in Zionsville. The inexperienced Stars struggled with the wet conditions and difficult course to finish third with a 233. Stefanie Dickerson battled for a 48 only 8 strokes off the medalist. Ila Stokes and Lillie Cripe finished strong with 61s. Makenzie Amich had a 63 and right behind her was Jaylee Dickerson 64. The Stars will play again Thursday at Cool Lake in a 4-way match against Attica, Fountain Central and Seeger with a 4:30 tee time.
