Washington 75, John Glenn 46 Washington opened Sectionals with a performance built on energy, discipline, and outright physical control, rolling past John Glenn 75–46 to advance to the next round. From the opening tip, the Panthers dictated pace and tone, defending with purpose and turning stops into clean transition opportunities. A huge part of the win came on the glass. Washington dominated the boards, clearing defensive rebounds to shut down second‑chance chances and attacking the offensive glass to extend possessions. That rebounding edge fueled everything—tempo, confidence, and the ability to keep pressure on Glenn for four straight quarters. Offensively, the Panthers played connected basketball, getting downhill, finishing through contact, and knocking down rhythm threes created by unselfish ball movement. Defensively, they stayed locked in, forcing tough shots and making Glenn work for every look. By halftime, Washington had full control, and they closed the game with the same focus they started with. It wasn’t just a win—it was a statement. The Panthers looked like a team ready for a postseason run, playing with confidence, chemistry, and a clear identity. A strong, complete start to Sectionals.
