Small but Mighty CC Squad turn in Quality 2025 Seasons

Low numbers doomed the CC squads in 2025 from any team accolades this year, but the individuals who ran in 2025 had outstanding seasons for the Waldron Mohawks. Two young gentlemen, Spencer Armstrong & Jacob Kuhn, and one Waldron lady, Kassidy Meulen, ran for the Mohawks in 2025. All had solid seasons and ended the season with PR's at some point late in the season. Jacob Kuhn had a quality season that culminated in an all-conference performance at the annual MHC meet held at Morristown. Kuhn's season culminated in a 59th-place finish at the Sectional held at Blue River in Shelbyville. This is one of the toughest sectionals in all the state & Jacob performed exceptionally well. Not to be outdone was Kassidy Meulen. Kass finished 5th overall at the MHC meet, earning her all-MHC honors. Kassidy also finished 59th overall at the Blue River Shelbyville Sectional. She raced against some of the state's best and performed at a high level. Spencer Armstrong grew as a runner throughout the season and was unable to perform in the Sectional. Spencer had the privilege of competing at the FFA Soils Judging State Championship in Ft Wayne, held on the same weekend. Spencer and his team performed very well! All three runners plan to continue their careers and hope to add a few more to the squad next season. The team was able to assemble a crew to run as a boys' team at the Shelby County Meet, and they won the County Championship by a single point.
