The 2025 version of the Lady Mohawk Junior High Volleyball team was small but mighty, and it showed at the end of the regular season. With eight girls on the team, the squad played a majority 8th grade only schedule, and performed exceptionally well in all games this season. The season was capped off by a thrilling three-set victory over Triton Central in the Shelby County Championship match, held at Morristown High School. The Lady Mohawks won the first set and looked solid in the second set, before the Lady Tigers would rally to send the contest into a decisive 3rd set. In the end, the Lady Mohawks gutted out a thrilling county championship. The squad finished the season 8-7 overall, with a 3-3 record in MHC play. They had some quality wins over Indian Creek, Greensburg, and Triton Central in the county championship. The Lady Mohawks pushed the MHC-champ, Hauser, to the brink in both contests this season. Waldron is proud to see 8th graders Remi Hewson, Wryn Miller, & Kiya Scott move on to begin their high school volleyball careers in the 2026-2027 season. Their hard work and dedication were much appreciated! GO MOHAWKS!
