The young men traveled back to Shelbyville on Thursday night to face #5 Central Indiana ranked Shelbyville on their home courts in semifinal action of sectionals. The young men continued their amazing season with a 3-2 win to advance to the final on Friday night against Morristown. #1 singles Charlie Fischer continues his amazing play with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Reece Prickett. #2 singles Cash Young got back on track and provided great Senior leadership winning 6-4, 6-4 over Kashton Laycock. #3 singles Lincoln Fischer completed the sweep with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Bram Kolkmeier. #1 doubles Jackson Kuhn and Caige Sheaffer ran into one of the state's best doubles team in Aiden Smith and Wyatt Armstrong and lost 6-0, 6-2. #2 doubles Noah Mitchell and Owen Hartman had an off night falling 6-1, 6-2 to Jack Van Wye and Aiden Alton. Championship match starts at 5pm on Friday night at Shelbyville High School!! Go Mohawks!
