The Jr. High Lady Mohawks opened their final week of the season with a road game at GCA to take on the Cougars. The match began with a tough start in Set 1, as the Mohawks fell behind 8-1 early. However, they gradually found their rhythm and battled back, making several short runs that nearly closed the gap. Despite their efforts, GCA held strong and claimed the set, 25-18. Set 2 saw a slightly more balanced start, but the Cougars continued to bring the heat. The Mohawks responded with solid digs and several impressive scrappy plays, showing grit and determination throughout. Unfortunately, they struggled to capitalize on key opportunities, and GCA closed out the match by taking Set 2, 25-14. The Lady Mohawks are back in action tomorrow evening as they travel to Greensburg. The match is scheduled to begin around 5:45 PM, following Greensburg’s 8th Grade Night festivities at 5:30.
