The Mohawks traveled to Lincoln Park to play the Columbus Northside Spartans on Tuesday night. This was a tight match last year, and the Mohawks were excited at the prospect of winning the match again this year. It was the Singles positions of Noah Leap, Harrison Fischer, and Ollee Kuhns, who pulled the win together for the Mohawk team. Fischer ended his match easily, and Kuhns kept a steady pace throughout this match to pull ahead at the right time at the end to claim victory. While both doubles teams struggled in their matches, Leap at 1 Singles played the longest match of the night of almost 2 hours. He battled a tight match in the sun that went to a close tiebreak. After calling a short timeout, Leap powered through to win his match and complete the team victory.
