The boys tennis team welcomed the Hauser Jets on Tuesday night for the conference title match as both teams were unbeaten in conference play! The Mohawks were not going to give up their conference dominance and came away with a 5-0 victory to win their 5th straight conference title!! Great job young men!! #1 singles Charlie Fischer got things started with a 6-1, 6-0 win over James Oliver. #2 singles Cash Young fought through some tightness to win 6-2 ,6-4 over Joel Betchel. #3 singles Lincoln Fischer rolled 6-0, 6-0 over Graydon Kilps. #1 doubles Jackson Kuhn and Caige Sheaffer started slow losing the first three games, then regrouped and played more patient to win 6-3, 6-0 over Kameron Blair and RJ Foster. #2 doubles Senior pairing of Connor Ping and Noah Mitchell cruised 6-1, 6-2 over Jacob Bell and Brady Miller . JV Actions Ethan Moody and Owen Hartman got plenty of action as they played three sets to 6 in three different matches and won all 3!! Mason Burris and Max Taylor each got 2 matches in singles and won a couple of the matches!! Great job again Mohawks!! Next up a big test with #3 district ranked Connersville!! Thanks !
