The boys welcomed the Dragons of New Palestine to our home courts on Tuesday night. New Palestine always has a tough team and didn't disappoint taking 4-1 victory home with them. #1 singles Cash Young fell 6-1, 6-0 to Carson Rush (11). #2 singles Lincoln Fischer had great opportunity to win first set, but couldn't quite seal the deal losing 7-5, 6-3 to Tyler Walter. #3 singles Owen Hartman gave great effort in losing first set 6-4 , then couldn't recover in second set 6-0 to Brock Hehmann. #1 doubles Jackson Kuhn and Caige Sheaffer continue to look impressive in dominating 6-1, 6-3 over Luke Bartesek and Gavin Berry. #2 doubles Connor Ping and Noah Mitchell were defeated 6-1, 6-2 by Jackson Clark and Davis Harrison. JV Action Ethan Moody fell 8-1 to Jack Hehmann. Max Taylor and Mason Burris lost 8-0 to James Perry and Brady Groce. Next up for the Mohawks another home match on Thursday versus Trinity Lutheran at 5:30pm.
