Both the 7th and 8th grade Lady Mohawks defeated the Southwestern Spartans in 2 games at home on Monday night. We also celebrated our 8th grade Lady Mohawks and all they’ve contributed to our program. 7th Grade – 8-3 Overall | 5-1 MHC The 7th grade had several strong serving performances: Brooklyn Thomas: 6 good serves, 6 aces Laila Williams: 5 good serves, 3 aces Ella Watson: 7 good serves, 2 aces, 4 kills Spotlight Player – Briella Chappelow 8th Grade – 5-6 Overall | 3-5 MHC The 8th graders finished their celebration night with a 2-game victory, with some great contributions from the service line: Azalia Rader: 6 good serves, 4 aces Gracee McConnell: 7 good serves, 5 aces, 4 kills Libby Hash: 4 aces Evan England: 5 assists Spotlight Player – Mary Kuhn The Lady Mohawks are back in action tomorrow at Hauser vs. the Lady Jets for the Mid-Hoosier Conference Tournament play-play in game. Conference tournament play continues Saturday at Southwestern.
