The Mohawks made their third road trip of the week and made it to Spartan country to battle the #4 district ranked Connersville Spartans. We always enjoy our battles with a great program and tonight did not disappoint! Both team showed why they are two in the best in Central Indiana! The Mohawks came away with some clutch performances at #2 doubles and #3 singles to seal a 3-2 victory and earn their 10th win of the season! #1 doubles Jackson Kuhn and Caige Sheaffer earned their 14th win together with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Evan Miller and Grady Simpkins. #2 doubles Owen Hartman and Wyatt Armstrong fought through many points to win two straight tiebreakers 7-6 (8-6), 7-6 (7-1) over Angelo Amora and Eli Laughlin. #3 singles freshman Noah Leap found his confidence in the second set and gave the Mohawks their third win of the night with 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 win over Abel Parsley. #1 singles Charlie Fischer battled with a talented player in Anthony Struewing coming up a little short 7-5, 6-3. #2 singles Lincoln Fischer also battled hard against Jay McMullen falling 7-6 (7-5), 6-1 . JV ACTION Waldron 5 Connersville 0 The JV kids swept all positions tonight and played well!! #1 singles Tad Crosby won 6-0 over Justin Kitchen. #2 singles Kevin Crouch rolled 6-0 over Owen Jones. #3 singles Trent Allen cruised 6-2 over Caigan Gettinger. #4 singles Max Taylor made some awesome shots winning 6-2 over Hayden Mcguire. #1 doubles Luke Thomas and Tanner Cockerham finished the sweep with a crazy 7-6 (7-5) win over Kooper Grizzell and Wyatt Gray!
