The young men traveled to New Palestine on Tuesday night for a 7pm match time due to the very hot conditions. The Dragons came in hot at 7-1 , ranked #23 overall, and #2 district ranked! The 4th ranked Mohawks fought for every point and fought till the end, but the Dragons were too tough to slay with a 4-1 home win! #1 doubles Jackson Kuhn and Caige Sheaffer looked impressive together in capturing the varsity win 7-6( 7-3), 6-2 over Jackson Clark and Davis Harrison. #1 singles Charlie Fischer suffered his first loss of the season to a red hot Carson Rush 6-2, 6-1. #2 singles Lincoln Fischer fought for over 2 hours coming up just a little short 7-6( 9-7), 6-1 to Tyler Walter. #3 singles Noah Leap played really well in capturing the first set 6-3 over Brock Hehmann. #2 doubles Owen Hartman and Kevin Crouch had every game go to duece in losing 6-1, 6-4 to Jack Hehmann and Brady Groce. JV Action #1 Singles Tad Crosby fell 8-1 to Blake Wilson. #2 singles Tanner Cockerham lost 8-0 to Braedyn Shaffer. #3 singles Max Taylor lost 8-0 to Sean Pearson. #1 doubles Trent Allen and Luke Thomas lost 8-1 to Gavin Berry and Jacob Kleine.
