On Saturday, the Mohawks hosted their annual Mohawk Invite. This year the invite welcomed Batesville, Indian Creek, and Paul Hadley (Mooresville) to their courts to compete. The Mohawks played Batesville in the semi-finals and defeated the Bulldogs 5-0. In the championship, they faced the Paul Hadley Pioneers and cruised through their opponents to come out on top with a score of 5-0 and the trophy. The Mohawks went 10-0 for the day. After a busy match-heavy week, the Mohawks get to take a break and hit the practice courts this week. Their only match this week is against Benjamin Rush Middle School at Home at 6:00 pm on Thursday, September 3rd.
