The Mohawks opened their season tonight by hosting the New Palestine Dragons. The Mohawks came out with a 1-4 loss, but as it was many players' first time playing Varsity positions, their first match is now out of the way, and they are ready to forge ahead. Two big wins tonight were for Varsity 1 Doubles Lucas Lemmons and Rex Fischer with a 8-5 win and JV 2 Singles Henry Nieman with a big 6-1 win in his first tennis match ever! Honorable mention goes out to Varsity 3 Singles Austin Lemmons who played a super tight marathon of a match to 6-8.
