The Lady Mohawks played a rare Wednesday tennis match making up the county semifinal with Morristown. The ladies advance to the final on Thursday with a 4-1 win over the host Yellow Jackets. #1 singles Riley Thurston got things started with a nice 6-1, 6-0 win over Katie Theobald. #2 singles Ava Leising had the long match of the night with a 7-6 (7-3), 6-2 win over Addie Osborne. #1 doubles Emerson Lindsey and Jackie Corlett improved to 15-0 together with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Emma Waggoner and Emmy Bowyer. #2 doubles of Malia Murphy and Hannah Rouse improved to 3-0 with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Remi Specklemire and Chloe Theobald. The ladies will travel to Triton Central on Thursday for championship match at 4:30pm.
