The Lady Mohawks welcomed the Triton Central Tigers on Friday night. The Tigers are enjoying an undefeated season on #3 district ranking in Central Indiana. The Tigers went home with a 4-1 victory. #1 doubles Emerson Lindsey and Jackie Corlett remained unbeaten at 11-0 with a thrilling 6-3, 5-7, 10-4 win over Kate Collier and Neve Kahler. #1 singles Riley Thurston ran into another great player in Mary Rose Felling losing 6-1, 6-1. #2 singles Ava Leising returned from a wrist injury and couldn't quite get it rolling falling 6-0, 6-0 to Anniston Evans. #3 singles Leah Kuhn continues to improve losing 6-2, 6-3 to foreign exchange player Zhibek Zhumaly. #2 doubles Madeline Walker and Hannah Rouse fell 6-0, 6-2 to Estelle Geralds and Cadence Roberts. JV Action #1 singles Ruby England wins a thriller 8-7 (7-4) over Morgan Fisher. #1 doubles Kate Kuhn and Taylor Stewart won first match 8-6 over Keely O'Gara and Caydence Stout. #2 doubles Lillian Mann and Lorelie Wagner lost 8-0 to Kenzie Hoover and Lexi Poole. The ladies take the weekend off and welcome #4 ranked New Palestine to home courts on Monday at 4:30pm.
