The Lady Mohawks tennis team took a decent drive on Thursday to take on the Blue River Valley Vikings. The ladies were playing without their #2 and #3 singles players and still fought hard , but came up short 3-2. #1 doubles Jackie Corlett and Emerson Lindsey improved to 10-0 together with a dominating 6-1, 6-1 win over Bekah Grim and Ziranda Grounds. #3 singles Leah Kuhn rolled 6-4, 6-0 over Emma Jo Dunsmore. #1 single Riley Thurston ran into one of the best players in our area losing 6-1, 6-0 to Sydney Crisp. #2 singles Hannah Rouse, filling for injured Ava Leising , got going in the second set but lost 6-1, 6-4 to Kenna Sheets. #2 doubles new pairing of Madeline Walker and Taylor Stewart had a chance to force a third set , but came up short 6-2, 7-6 (8-6) to Grace MCDonald and Alayna Connor. JV ACTION Maddie Hungerford continues to improve losing 6-4 to Stella Brown. Kate Kuhn and Lillian Mann won playing for first time together 8-3 over Gretchen Souther and Makenna Parmley. Ruby England and Lorelei Wagner lost 6-2 to Maddy Turner and Carolyn Hershman. Tough week continue as we welcome a super talented team in Triton Central Friday night to our home courts. Thanks
