The Lady Mohawks welcomed the Lancers of Edinburgh to town for a conference tennis match. The Mohawks prevailed 4-1 to improve to 6-1 overall and 3-0 in conference play. Only varsity contests were played tonight due to Edinburgh only having 7 on the roster. #1 singles Riley Thurston rolled 6-1, 6-1 over Lucy Buck. #2 singles Ava Leising won by forfeit. #3 singles Malia Murphy lost 6-4, 4-6, 5-10 to Kinzie Purvis. #1 doubles Emerson Lindsey and Jackie Corlett cruised 6-0, 6-1 over Bella Turner and Sophia Pace. #2 doubles Madeline Walker and Hannah Rouse followed up yesterday's win with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Kaydra Peters and Elliot Smith. The ladies look to capture the conference title on Thursday as the Jets of Hauser come to town for a 5pm match! Great job ladies!
